Born, raised and educated in Israel, I have a passion and
commitment to the place I have always called home. My tour
guiding approach goes beyond simply telling you about the
historical facts of Israel. I believe that your tour should
be an experience you will never forget. I want to share with
you the people, the culture, and the history of Israel in
a rich and meaningful way.
I see tour guiding as an adventurous, educational experience.
Being that I am an educator, this has greatly contributed
to my style of guiding a group through my country, Israel.
Itay, An Experienced Educator With A
Unique Perspective!
After serving in the IDF for three years, I studied Biology
and Environmental Sciences (B.A.). I continued my education
and I have earned an M.A. in Environmental Management. However,
my passion has always been in education and guiding. I am
licensed both as a tour guide and as a teacher.
I have educated a diverse set of groups, from youth attending
Jewish summer camps in the United States to students learning
in the Israeli school system.
I enjoy engaging young and old in discussions on subjects
related to geography, history, The Land of Israel, and Judaism.
With over a decade of experience guiding tourists in Israel,
I have been honored to host travelers of a variety of ages
and backgrounds including families, teens, college students,
Jewish educators, and synagogue leaders. I have also worked
as a Tour Educator for the Jewish Agency, Young Judea, Birthright
Israel, SPNI (The Society for the Protection of Nature in
Israel), Melton Adult Mini School, and March of The Living.
I look forward to meeting you and sharing
with you the Land of Israel - the amazing place I call home.
